Growing Radishes

Radishes
These are incredibly easy to grow, as they tolerate most soil types and produce a crop within about 3-4 weeks. Sow the seeds at weekly intervals for a successful crop through the summer.
They can easily be grown in containers as well as the soil, and when sowing do so individually rather than in a clump. Thin them out when large enough to handle, leaving 2.5 cm between each plant.
Water when the soil dries, keeping it moist.
If grown in modules inside, plant 2-3 seeds in a module and thin when they come up, as above.
Radishes are best eaten when young , after 3-4 weeks. If left, they develop a bitter texture.
